Blackburn manager Steve Kean has said that the club have no received any offers for star defender Chris Samba and are hoping to keep hold of him for the new season.
Samba, 27, has been linked with a £12 million move to Arsenal after a series of impressive performances for Rovers last season and the Congo international is also attracting the attention of other clubs around Europe.
However, with the club's financial security now safe, Kean claims that they are hopeful of keeping their best players.
"We've had no bids for Chris, and no bids for any other player at this time," Kean said, "and we would like to keep it like this as Chris is only a couple of months into a five-year contract.
"So if the bids don't come in, we can keep Chris as a part of a defensive unit that proved very solid at the end of last season."
Samba handed in a transfer request after the sacking of Sam Allardyce, although pledged his future to the club by signing a new deal soon after, although has admitted that he would relish a move to play in the Champions League.
